AOGC signs diesel and petrol supply contract with Ministry of Interior

Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation (AOGC) signed a contract of 6948519-liter diesel and 3645343-liter petrol supply with Ministry of Interior on 06.09.2024. According to the contract articles, Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation committed to deliver two types of oil (Petrol and diesel) to Ministry of Interior for 2^nd quarter of the year 1403 Solar-year.

It is pertinent to mention that the contract is a part of the efforts of Afghanistan state-owned Oil and Gas Corporation, which is to meet the needs of governmental departments and institutions and reduce the dependency of governmental departments and institutions on private sector contracts and support state-owned companies. Meanwhile, this cooperation can lead to an increase in the revenues of governmental companies and by strengthening the state-owned companies, they will create new job opportunities as well.
