AOGC signs diesel supply contract with the Directorate of Work Preservation and Maintenance of Kabul Municipality

Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation (AOGC) signed a contract for 75,000-liter diesel supply with the Directorate of Work Preservation and Maintenance of Kabul Municipality on 28.09.2024. According to the contract articles, Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation committed to deliver one of the oil (diesel) to the Directorate of Work Preservation and Care of Kabul Municipality till the end of fiscal year 1403 from AOGC reservoirs under the specific conditions of the contract.

It is pertinent to mention that the contract is a part of the efforts of Afghanistan's state-owned Oil and Gas Corporation, which is to meet the needs of governmental departments and institutions, reduce the dependency of governmental departments and institutions on private sector contracts, and support state-owned companies. Meanwhile, this cooperation can lead to an increase in the revenues of governmental companies, and by strengthening the state-owned companies, they will create new job opportunities as well.
