Signing a contract of two types of oil (diesel and petrol) with the Directorate of Administration and Services of Ministry of Public Works

Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation (AOGC) signed a contract of 20000-liter diesel and 3000-liter petrol supply with the Directorate of Administration and Services of the Ministry of Public Works on 14.09.2024. According to the contract articles, Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation committed to deliver two types of oil (petrol and diesel) to the Directorate of Administration and Services of the Ministry of Public Works till the end of 1403 fiscal year.

It is pertinent to mention that the contract is a part of the efforts of Afghanistan's state-owned Oil and Gas Corporation, which is to meet the needs of governmental departments and institutions, reduce the dependency of governmental departments and institutions on private sector contracts, and support state-owned companies. Meanwhile, this cooperation can lead to an increase in the revenues of governmental companies, and by strengthening the state-owned companies, they will create new job opportunities as well.
